Ep. 78 | Kopfjäger Reaper Grip and Tripod Review... "The Late Night Vision Show" Podcast

Image
We often have viewers and listeners ask what tripod setups we use while hog and coyote hunting. This week we discuss and offer our full review of the Kopfjager tripod systems. Kopfjager is best known for their Reaper Grip that allows a shooter to quickly and easily lock in any rifle and have it held steady on a tripod. The shooter is then able to actually let go of the rifle and it still be held securely on the top of the tripod without moving or falling over. Not only does this make for steady shots, it allows the hunter to relax without having to hold the buttstock of the rifle up on those long stands and sets. Listen in as Hans and Jason offer their opinions and thoughts from their first hand field experience with the Kopfjager tripod and grip system. __________________________________________________    **** Find Night Vision/Thermal Scopes **** Find all Kopfjäger Grips and Tripods Here: https://outdoorlegacygear.com/pages/search-results-page?q=kopfjager Find A...

Ep. 77 "The Late Night Vision Show" Podcast | Hog Calling - The 7 Month Experiment

Image
Does hog calling really work? Hans and Jason get this question a lot of it’s been a topic discussed on several episodes of The Late Night Vision Show. We’ve interviewed the famous Texas hog caller, Glenn Guess, on two different occasions and he laid out his in depth methods and tips for calling in wild hogs. Hans briefly discussed some of his personal hog calling success on previous episodes but after calling hogs on a near nightly basis for many months, he has fine tuned his skills and has a large amount of experience and wisdom to offer on the topic. If you’re still on the fence about whether calling hogs really works or you’re looking for tips on how to get started, do not miss this episode. __________________________________________________    **** Find Night Vision/Thermal Scopes **** Find the Convergent Bullet HP Caller Here: https://outdoorlegacygear.com/products/convergent-bullet-hp-game-call?variant=16272965599306 Find All Night Vision/Thermal Scopes and Op...

Ep. 76 | "The Late Night Vision Show" Podcast - Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 vs. Sightmark Wraith

Image
Due to popular demand and listener/viewer request, on Episode 76 of the podcast Hans and Jason will compare the Sightmark Wraith HD and the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450. We fully admit this seems like an unfair comparison since the Wraith HD retails for $499 and the Digisight sells for $1,299, but listen in as the guys offer the pros and cons of each optic and which one they believe is the better overall scope to buy. If you're interested in an in-depth review of each scope, check out Episodes 48 and 73.

Ep. #75 | Pulsar Thermion XM30 Breaking News!

Image
On Episode 75 of The Late Night Vision Show, Hans and Jason deliver breaking news concerning the Pulsar Thermion XM30 thermal rifle scope. The Thermion XM30 has been one of the most anticipated thermal rifle scopes for 2019 since it's announcement at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas in January. Several weeks back Pulsar announced that they would be removing the focus-able objective lens and replacing it with a fixed focus lens. This was a disappointment to many who were waiting with high hopes for the first demo units of the XM30 to begin shipping. Listen in as Hans and Jason discuss the latest news from Pulsar concerning this much anticipated scope. __________________________________________________    **** Find Night Vision/Thermal Scopes **** Find the Pulsar Thermions Here: https://outdoorlegacygear.com/pages/search-results-page?q=pulsar+thermion Find All Night Vision/Thermal Scopes and Optics Here: http://bit.ly/outdoorlegacygear Call Jason at Outdoor Legacy Gear: ...

Ep. #74 "The Late Night Vision Show" Podcast | SHOT Show 2020 Predictions...

Image
Even though it's only October, many people start to ask, "Hey, what new scopes are coming out next year?" Honestly, that's a million dollar question that we don't have the answer to. Traditionally in the hunting industry all new products are announced at or around the time of the annual SHOT Show, which is held every January in Las Vegas. Even though it's almost 4 months away, Hans and Jason decided they'd get out their crystal balls (which are pretty foggy and of very low quality) and  come up with their predictions for what new scopes and optics we might see for the night vision and thermal industry in 2020. Along with their wild, baseless, unsubstantiated predictions they decided they'd go ahead and throw out their wish list of what they'd like to see come out next year. Tune and see what they have to say but remember, their predictions can be trusted about as much as a fortune cookie from the seedy Chinese food place in town that everyone ...
